IR2 ramp and squeeze matching
John Jowett
Introduction
12:04:76 16/6/2007 Currently working on V6.501 which TR has not yet finalised so it is represented in a temporary way in the MADinputLHC package. In fact it is the same as V6.500 except that TR gave me some changes to Beam 1 quadrupole strengths for the injection configuration. These are included below by means of the madLHCEpilog option of madLHCOptics, according to the following email:
new IR2 injection optics for V6.501,Beam 1

Hi John,the changes in IR2 only affect beam 1,between Q13L and Q6L.This leaves the optics unchanged in the injection region.The strength changes and the new phase advances across IR2 are
kqt13.l2b1:=-0.001195915171733;//changes IR2 left of Q6L
kqt12.l2b1:=0.003151733816090;//muxip2.b1=3.067792;
kqtl11.l2b1:=0.000150509298049;//muyip2.b1=2.874877;
kq10.l2b1:=-0.006246705335681;
kq9.l2b1:=0.006480148418076;
kq8.l2b1:=-0.004187190186946;
kq7.l2b1:=0.006802553701646;
kq6.l2b1:=-0.004596381262793;
The other gradients may be taken from V6.5.inj.str in the V6.500 or
V6.501 directory.Beam 2 is unchanged,phase advances are
muxip2.b2=2.991000;
muyip2.b2=2.844000;
I will install a new strength file with an updated crossing scheme
in the V6.501 AFS directory as soon as I have time (but probably not in the next few days).
Thys.

OK this now works for ,12, 13, 14, 9 (with CALLS->10), 8(with CALLS->20), 15 with some fixes
but not for 20, 6,5 (fail with K1s hitting boundaries)
